AhlulBayt News Agency: Iraq’s top Shia cleric Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani considered the purchase of Israeli goods to be unlawful.
The senior cleric said purchasing Israeli products and also dealing with companies or individuals who give a portion of their profits to Israel is not permitted.
Many other Shia sources of emulation have already banned any purchase of Israeli goods.
It comes amid the Israeli regime’s aggression against Iran that was launched on June 13 and has killed scores of Iranians, most of them civilians.
In a statement Ayatollah Sistani strongly condemned the Zionists’ acts of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
